State local government and housing minister Masidi Manjun said the revised SOPs have also eased the restriction on the movement of people in the state, which is presently under Phase 2 of the national recovery plan.
He said those who have completed their vaccination are now allowed to use swimming pools and take part in recreational activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, jet skiing, sea walking and scuba diving.
He added that these individuals must however observe physical distancing of being at least two to three metres from another person.
“Besides that, people from the same house with adults who have completed two doses of the vaccine are allowed to go out in the same car according to their vehicle capacity,” he said in his daily Covid-19 statement today.
Only two people from households that have yet to complete both doses are allowed to go out to buy food supplies, medicine and other daily essentials.
The previous SOPs stated that all eatery operators must ensure only fully vaccinated staff and customers with a low-risk status on their MySejahtera enter their premises.
As for supermarkets and hypermarkets, only customers and workers who have been fully vaccinated are allowed to enter the premises. - FMT
