Nurse Nur Zawani, 28, said at the time of the incident, she was near the scene and was shocked when she was told that her brother was involved in an accident.
She immediately rushed to Muhammad Zaharif Affendi who was lying stiff by the roadside and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on him while waiting for ambulance to arrive.
"I held my brother's head and tried to save him. I performed CPR many times but there was no response. My father who was also there helped my brother to recite syahadah," she said.
Nur Zawani said her mother and father were distraught by the incident, and the victim was the youngest of four siblings and loved by many.
The family of the 17-year-old student is now demanding justice over the senseless death.
Nur Zawani said that whoever the perpetrator is, the individual needs to be brought to justice and receive a befitting punishment.
"If he made a mistake, (you could have) met my parents, even if you want to put him in lock up, it's okay, but it's not your right to do that (purposely hit her brother).
