Great Food @ Chef Lyn's Pastry and Cafe, Bangi | Bandar Baru Bangi is known for the variety of food choices and hijabista fashion. This time around, I will be sharing of a little gem that is not far from my place.


Located at Block B of Bangi Gateway, I found Chef Lyn's Pastry and Cafe. The quaint little cafe is located beside the Pasar Mini ISmart HQ and just a walking distance from Jahhet Fine Meat.

Address: Ground Floor, Unit 23, Block B, Jalan Gerbang Wawasan 1, Bangi Gateway, Seksyen 15, 43650, Bandar Baru Bangi.
The quaint little cafe that sits at the corner lot of building, I love the simple decoration inside the cafe. The decoration enable Chef Lyn to have four tables for her patrons. 
While waiting for my friends to arrive, Chef Lyn and I chatted about her beginning and her aspiration.



Let's Get To Know Chef Lyn
Chef Haslin Hasan, or she is fondly go by Chef Lyn, has 20 years of experience in hospitality and culinary arts.  She started as a lecturer and then decided to venture into the business. She was also one of the invited chef in the Masterchef Selebriti Malaysia.

The cafe, Chef Lyn's Pastry and Cafe was officially opened for the public in 2020. Then the global pandemic happened and she operated from home, offering some 40 choices of cake and pastries for delivery. You should try her cream-puff and burnt cheese cake. 
Now, adhering to the SOPs and the new norm, the cafe is fully functional daily from 10 am until 6 pm. If you prefer, you may also search for Chef Lyn's Pastry and Cafe on most food delivery services.

As we were hungry, we ordered some of the cafe's best sellers.
We ordered the following from the menu:

Beef StewLamb StewSalmon Buttermilk Pasta (you may request for the level of spiciness)
Roasted Chicken and Cajun Spices with Rice (you may request for the level of spiciness)
Egg Noodle Water Prawn 
While waiting for the food to arrive, we had some cheese tarts (gone in seconds - it was good).
