Freedom To Talk Rubbish Wasting Time Will Mic Pull Out Of Ph Etc
Well that was the story I heard today. That the MIC folks had some sort of gathering in Port Dickson about a week ago and among the things they discussed (from the podium) was if the MIC should remain with the PH or join the PN?
There is also talk that the people from across the sea are also none too excited about the situation in the country and are keeping their options open - as always.
And up north along the west coast, the support for Dr M is actually improving - surprise!!
This is mainly because of the chaotic situation in the country now. One guy says 'you are corrupted'. Then the other fellow returns the compliment. And it goes on and on. Endless.
It is a field day for throwing accusations. Meantime not much work is getting done. The education minister has declared no classes for the first week of school. The kids go to school to start learning. Instead they have been given the first week off.
Then some people say Dr M should not have made any Melayu declarations.
Others say Guan Eng should not have made that 'apologise within 24 hours' dare to TSMY.
Or that Ramasamy should not have made that statement about whatever he claimed.
That Hadi should not have said what he said.
Some pro-PH folks even suggested that there should be an Ops Lalang 2.0!!
Lock them up!!
If you think that way it means you have lost the plot.
I believe in complete freedom of speech. No matter how dumb Hadi is it is still his right to say what he wants to say. Isnt that the reformasi we should all be fighting for?
Especially when you do not agree with what someone is saying? He still has the right to say what he wants to say. And we have to defend their right to speak. Even if it is Hadi or Dr M or anyone else.
So please stop wasting time demanding that Dr M should not say this, Hadi should not say that, Guan Eng should not say this, Ramasamy should not say that etc. They all have the right to say what they want to say.
If you disagree with them, just say so. Rebut them, critique them, poke holes in their arguments. Thats how to do it. But dont say they should not be allowed to speak.
I was listening to that Seymour Hersh expose about the US carrying out a sabotage attack against that Nordtsream II gas pipeline. No one said that Seymour Hersh should be stopped from saying what he said. Just let him speak.
The same should be the case here. Let them all say what they want to say. Then we will decide who is talking rubbish.
