Finally Home Thanks To Gerak Malaysia Application
Finally Home Thanks to "Gerak Malaysia" Application | After a while of being away from home and stuck in Kuala Lumpur due to Covid-19, my mental health was quite a mess even though I thought I was fine. Thanks to a lot of people, I managed to pull through.
Sorry for not replying and being absent. I can finally see my family and decided to take a few days off from social media. And I can also see my fur babies.
I'm not gonna say that I'm unlucky but as soon as I got back to Kuala Lumpur, the MCO was enforced and I wasn't able to drive back home. From two weeks (first phase), it is now already day 56 (as I was writing this). Just yesterday, the PM announced it will be extended until 9th June.
And then Ramadan came. Alhamdulillah. I spent half of the Ramadan month alone. Unlike years before, even though I'm away from my family I still have my friends near me. It was challenging but fun at the same time.
Have you guys downloaded and tried the Gerak Malaysia application
At first, I was rather skeptical but end up downloading it anyway. IOS version updates were rather late than android but waiting for it was worth it. As soon as it was updated I applied for interstate travel. The application was approved on the spot after updating the latest 2.5 version
Some people thought Gerak Malaysia apps are only for interstate travel but the truth is, it's more than that. There are 5 categories included in the apps. The government is trying to ensure that everything can go well and smoothly went it comes to people traveling outside of their homes. For me, it is better to download the apps just in case and to avoid any unnecessary incidents. To go out and for grocery shopping and necessitiesMedical purposesEmergency Important activitiesInterstate travel
You can see how fast they approved my interstate travel application. A job well done by the government for helping people like me. Although the Ios updated a little bit later than the Android, the wait was worth it. I'm glad I waited
Not yet ready, I rush my way out and packed all that I can before I traveled home.
p/s: I've already packed most of my things beforehand. All that's left was my luggage.
The traffic was super clear that I managed to get home a bit sooner than I expected. Thankfully I have a bottle of milk for breakfasting. Because as soon as it was time, I was still in the car on my way home.
None of my family know that I was heading home except for someone(you know who you are). Thank you for making my plan successful as they were surprised and excited at the same time.
I'm planning something for you guys. Stay tuned okay.
