Tony Pua of DAP’s job was to hammer away amongst the Chinese voters regarding the RM42-52 billion that Najib Tun Razak was supposed to have stolen from 1MDB. Lim Guan Eng of DAP’s job was to hammer away regarding the GST and how because of the GST the cost of living in Malaysia was very high. Rafizi Ramli of PKR’s job was to campaign in the Felda areas where 54 of the 222 parliament seats are in those areas and where the Felda settlers form the majority of the voters.
Rafizi himself admitted that for one year from 2017 he was going to campaign in the Felda settlements every single day without fail until Polling Day on 9th May 2018. He was going to deliver those 54 Felda seats to Pakatan Harapan and make sure that Umno and Barisan Nasional are finally ousted after 61 years in power.
To garner votes in those 54 Felda seats, Rafizi was going to convince the Felda settlers how bad life was under Umno-Barisan Nasional and how life will improve and become so much better under Pakatan Harapan. In short, Malaysia will become a land of milk and honey and the roads will be paved in gold once Pakatan Harapan takes over.
That was one year ago before 9th May 2018. Since May 2018, Rafizi no longer visits those 54 Felda constituencies every single day, rain or shine. Since May 2018, Rafizi has been MIA (missing in action). The Felda settlers no longer get to see Rafizi’s batang hidung.

Rafizi, where are you? Last time datang sini hari-hari. Sekarang batang hidung pun tak nampak! Malaysia is not the land of milk and honey like Rafizi promised the Felda settlers. And the Felda settlers are angry. They regret voting for Pakatan Harapan. They feel that Rafizi has cheated them and lied to them. And they say in the next GE or in GE15 they are no longer going to vote for Pakatan Harapan.
In short, the Felda settlers are trying to lock the stable door after the horse has bolted. The Malay proverb goes: sesal dahulu pendapatan, sesal kemudian tiada gunanya. The Malays have another saying that goes: jangan MacMicheal kan kami. Those who know the history of the Malayan Union will know what that means. Today, the Felda settlers have changed that to: jangan Rafizi kan kami.
