My views :  I like listening to Rob Law - that is the young man in the video. He researches his subject well and is pretty level headed.

The whole world recognises that Saudi Arabia is the real Great Satan of the World, alongside the Republic of Iran and Pakistan - in that these THREE countries are collectively responsible for various types of Islamic terrorism and even outright war in their geographical areas of the world and also beyond. 
Since both Saudi Arabia and Iran derive almost their entire revenues from oil, the fall in oil prices will most certainly impact on their ardour towards funding war and violence around the world. It is no rocket science.
However I differ from Rob Law that terror attacks like the Christmas attack in Strasbourg or the other Paris attacks should be counted as "decreasing" along with the wars, tribal wars, racial wars etc going on in Islamic countries. For example that fight between the Fulani tribe, the Fulana tribe etc in Nigeria.
There is a huge difference.  Everyone knows there is a war going on in Afghanistan. Everyone knows there is a war in Yemen, and yes even among the Fulani and Fulana tribes in Nigeria etc.
The world is not worried about that.  No one wants to go to Afghanistan, Yemen or Nigeria anyway. Unless you have a deathwish. Those are places to be avoided.
But a single knife attack by some psycho jihadist on Christmas eve in Strasbourg or some jihadi psycho ramming a car into innocent people in London or Nice is an entirely different matter. 
These things did not happen before in these places.The world does not expect such attacks to take place in London, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, Melbourne etc.
But such jihadi attacks are starting to happen in the  'most unexpected' places. Meaning jihadi terrorism is indeed spreading all over the world. 
The actual numbers may be decreasing - and yes because Saudi Arabia has less money to spend. But their geographical spread is widening. No place on earth is safe from jihadi terrorism.Posted by Syed Akbar Ali
