Fahmi Disputes Rafizi S Claim Pkr Political Bureau Agreed On No Polls
The PKR information chief regrets the campaign period for the PKR polls is being used to spread ‘false information’.

Fahmi said this was not true and expressed regret that the campaign period for the PKR leadership polls was being used to spread incorrect information.
He urged all candidates to use their remaining hours of campaigning to canvass for votes in a healthy manner and to convey accurate information to PKR delegates.
“I regret that when given the platform, sometimes, inaccurate and incorrect information is spread to the point that the media would ask me whether it’s true.
“(He claimed that) the PKR political bureau had decided not to hold party elections this year. That’s not true,” he said during a campaign event with PKR deputy presidency hopeful Nurul Izzah Anwar here today.
Fahmi added that he regretted that the central leadership elections had caused a commotion within PKR, saying he wanted tensions to be alleviated.
Last Saturday, Rafizi claimed PKR’s political bureau agreed to hold the party polls only after the next general election for fear of the party being thrown into disarray by fierce contests for top posts.
He said this decision was reversed on grounds that the party elections were needed to bring in “new talent” such as R Ramanan and Kamil Munim, who are both aligned with Nurul Izzah. - FMT
