The one that is blur is Tommy Thomas
(1) The videos were clear enough for everyone to positively identify it was Azmin. Even mahchais, who are totally blur, know it was Azmin Ali
(2) Tommy should tell the public what he means by not being able to positively identify the two characters in the video. According to the analysis, what was the percentage probability one was Azmin Ali and also what was the probability the other was Haziq? 99%? 98%? 90%? 10%? Even better, he should expose the report for the public’s information. Since it got Azmin off the hook, Tommy should only be too happy to disclose the report to support his decision so we are assured that Tommy is not a sleazy liar
(3) Tommy is also blur for relying solely on the sex video. Tommy should know that there are other corroborating evidence such as the whereabouts of Azmin and Haziq at the time the video was made. There is sufficient evidence to put both of them at the scene of the crime. Haziq also confessed that he was the person in the video
(4) There is clear evidence the Azmin Ali lied when he claimed he did not know Haziq
(5) Azmin’s own sister identified Azmin in the video. She also said that it wasn’t Azmin’s first time
(6) Why shouldn’t we believe only “blurred” videos were sent for analysis instead of the clear ones
(7) In Tommy’s media statement, he said it was confirmed that “the inability to identify individuals in the viral videos is primarily due to the low resolution and quality of the viral videos and the relatively few number of video frames in which the suspect is CLEARLY VISIBLE”. (CAPS are mine). In other words there were indeed CLEARLY VISIBLE video frames that showed it was Azmin Ali but Tommy claim there too few of those CLEARLY VISIBLE video frames to positively identify it was Azmin Ali. How many video frames do you need
CLEARLY THERE IS AT LEAST PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE (if not concrete evidence) for Azmin Ali and/or Haziq to be charged. Is Tommy Thomas also too blur to even know what prima facie evidence is
At the end of his media statement, Tommy said “my Deputy Public Prosecutors unanimously recommended to me that no charges be proffered in connection with the videos. I have accepted their recommendation and have decided not to prosecute any person.”If you’re not blur you can see that Tommy Thomas is trying to tell us to not blame him for the ridiculous decision to not prosecute Azmin Ali. He should reveal to us the names of those DPPs
Tommy Thomas should resign as AG because he is incompetent in criminal investigation and proceedings
