Enlightened Malays Must Reject Pas Malays Who Are Too Islamic

Looking at the by-election campaign in Cameron Highlands, I think the country has not changed much since May 9, 2018. Both coalitions are basically still selling the same things – race supremacy, religious dominance and Malay-Muslim preferences.
Never mind that these same things have run this country to the ground in the past 50 years. From racism, bigotry, wastage and incompetency to corruption, we have had enough of baloney that robbed this country of its vitality.
May 9 and Pakatan Harapan were supposed to provide us a new hope.
Sadly, after nearly a year, the nation remains in the old battleground, filled with racism, incompetence and bad policies.

‘Enlightened’ Malays must reject PAS Malays who are too Islamic Why PH fell into the trap laid by PAS and Umno is simply beyond comprehension. I thought PH won and Umno and PAS lost.
If you care to observe, the conversation among Malaysians since May 9 has not really changed very much. We still talk about the same old racial and religious prejudices, all hoisted at every opportunity.
We still talk about the same archaic policies that have failed us in the past but are now being recycled and reused once more.
Why is PH so afraid of people who have failed us in the past? Why is it trying to do the same things as Umno and PAS and then expecting different results?
Have Umno and PAS not done enough damage for us to move away from their policies and model?
It is a waste of time for PH to keep thinking of getting more Malay and Muslim support. PH only needs 50% enlightened Malays to change this country forever.
When are we going to learn that racism and bigotry will never work, not here or elsewhere? Instead, racism and bigotry have created enough distrust and animosity among Malaysians.

This type of Umno Malays also needs to be exterminated It is time to annihilate both Umno and PAS’ toxic politics forever, and 50% enlightened Malays together with other races are more than sufficient to do the job.
Statements by PAS and now Umno are getting ridiculous and even dangerous by the day. Instead of challenging them, PH has allowed their ideas to hold sway.
Why would Malaysia, which has every ingredient to be a modern and progressive nation, be held ransom by a group of people who know next to nothing except to exploit religious doctrines and fan racial sentiments.
Sometimes pseudo-liberals rile me up when they argue that PAS and Umno are entitled to their free speech. Really, why not some of you say something very sensitive to them and see what happens?
Toxic ideas, if left unchallenged, will become mainstream ideas someday.
By then it will be too late.
