Elderly Driver Quickly Turns Road Bully Into A Victim Netizens Give Thumbs Up

JUST because a person drives a lorry the size of his huge ego, it doesn’t mean he has the luxury to tempt fate. Don’t trouble trouble until trouble troubles you. 
These words best sum up a situation where a lorry driver parked his vehicle right in the centre of the road and came down to scold a driver behind him.

We are uncertain if the heat from the tropical Malaysian weather had gotten to his head or if this was some elaborate plan to achieve something big.
Regardless, the lorry driver got something unexpected, and it came in the form of two wheels and an unyielding metal bumper.
It appears he wasn’t the only angry person on the road that day. Fortunately, the Mazda driver found the decency not to run him completely over, instead making a hasty escape by driving through the side of the road.
Netizens who observed the video overwhelmingly supported the Mazda driver, stating that the lorry driver deserved it.

“Gangster vs gangster. I am not surprised by the ending,” said  Ipohcmemalee while Annoyed Malaysian added that it was still a chargeable offense under the law even if the lorry driver was the one looking for fault.
True indeed, Sinar Harian reported that a husband and wife, aged 73 and 65 had been apprehended to assist with the investigation.
The news portal added that the incident occurred in Bandar Teknologi Kajang. Apparently the victim aged 42 years old was unable to move, sustaining injuries to the hand and right leg.
Netizen Z A further wondered if the elderly driver in the Mazda is on the wrong side of the law since the person is doing it in the name of self defense. 
“In a road rage, he may come down from the vehicle and break your car mirrors,” said Z A.

One netizen pointed out that the two individuals had an earlier problem which was likely not captured on the video.
“The car wanted to leave but the lorry driver was so busy blocking the road. It is the wrong day that he found someone crazier than him, that is why he gets run over,” he said.
SabeR RideR added that the video was incomplete and that the five minutes before this scene had to be shown so that people could better understand the reason behind the argument.
No further information could be derived from the brief video or comments in the posts regarding the incident.
Regardless, we hope the lorry driver learned his lesson. Never threaten a driver when he or she is safely tucked behind walls of steel and the engine is still running. —Mar 3, 2025
