Economic Sabotage Now You Are Talking

ECONOMIC Minister Azmin Ali said the government will push for a special act against economic saboteurs, a step to safeguard the country from any move to halt its growth and development.

Why are you saying it now? You once said that Malaysia is a bankrupt nation. Your friends in Pakatan Harapan started it all, remember?

When you people were the Opposition, you went on a badmouthing campaign, tarnishing the country's image. You, Dr Mahathir, Kit Siang, Guan Eng and the rest in the team went around, telling people that Malaysia was a failed state.

Your friend even went to the extent of persuading foreign investor to take out their money from this 'unstable' country and stop investing in Malaysia. At one point, PH told the whole world how corrupt Malaysia wasm and that Barisan Nasional regime was untrustworthy.

Now that you are in power, you begins to feel the shiver running foen your neck. PH is seeing blank in foreign direct investments (FDI), and the request for foreign loans is not shortcoming due to distrust in loan-providing nations and institutions.

Let me tell you something. When Dr M passed on the baton to Pak Lah, our BNM foreign reserves stood at US$20.2 billion. That was his making for 22 long years. But after Najib took over from Pak Lah, it shot up to US$109.5 billion in 9 years. Its still on downward pattern.

You said our foreign debt was RM1 trillion but the mid-term review of 11th Malaysia Plan revealed that it was only RM686 billion. Why must PH lie? Don't you know that blackening the country's economic reputation is the main cause for the rakyat woes today?

And you expect foreign investors to come running to a failed state!

Look at the stocks market. About RM13 billion in capital flights took place since May 9, and what did your government do to correct it? They keep on blaming the previous government, arresting and prosecuting their leaders one by one on corruption-created charges.

Again, you are painting a massive bad picture of Malaysia, your own country. And you expect its easy for the foreign investors - plus locals - to simply ink any government-guaranteed project when your tagline is always 'we don't have money'?

So pathetic!

What you people did in the past is now coming back on you. You are just like 'The boy who cried a wherewolf'!
