Dr M Enters Istana Negara For Audience With Agong
For the second day, a number of senior politicians are scheduled to meet the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah at the Istana Negara.
Yesterday, the Agong met with Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin as part of a weekly pre-cabinet meeting before then holding audiences with opposition leaders Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Guan Eng and Mohamad Sabu.
It is understood that the Covid-19 pandemic situation and the ending of the emergency are among the issues expected to be discussed at the meetings.
Malaysiakini reports from the ground.

Yesterday, the Agong held his first day of meetings with top political leaders in the country.
With the exception of Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, who already holds a scheduled meeting with the ruler every Wednesday before a cabinet meeting, the others were with opposition leaders.
They included top Pakatan Harapan leaders comprising opposition head Anwar Ibrahim, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and Amanah president Mohamad Sabu.
They all met the ruler separately for about an hour each.
When the opposition leaders left Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur throughout the day, they kept their cards close to their chests.
The narrative for the public was simple: The discussions were on combating Covid-19, the lifting of the emergency and reconvening Parliament.
It was also announced that the leaders of GPS will meet the Agong via video call next Monday (June 14).
This was confirmed by Sarawak Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg's office. Abang Johari is also the GPS chairperson.
