Don T Dream Of Being Pm Again Pro Pas Voice Tears Into Muhyiddin S Tax Flip Flops

A PRO-PAS commentator, known as Tanaka Mustafa, criticised PN chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin for lacking a consistent taxation policy and urged him to abandon his ambition to become prime minister again.
Tanaka described Muhyiddin’s governance style as outdated, warning his reputation could suffer like Mahathir’s if he returns as PM11 and performs poorly.
“Otherwise, his name will end up tarnished just like Tun Mahathir when he became PM7.
“Given today’s political, geopolitical, and economic landscape, TS Muhyiddin’s style of governance is outdated.
He also accused Muhyiddin of flip-flopping on taxes, noting that while he now calls for abolishing SST, he maintained it when he was prime minister.
“Looking at the flowchart made by cyber troopers to mock this issue, we can see that TS Muhyiddin has no solution when it comes to taxation.
“He just uses policies as he pleases, according to his own whims. As long as he can oppose, he opposes. As long as he can exploit, he exploits. Not good,” he wrote in a post.
On July 6, Muhyiddin denied claims that PAS is trying to undermine his leadership, stating that PAS and its president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang continue to support him.
Muhyiddin said he had previously proposed a rotational leadership allowing PAS to chair PN, but the party declined and insisted he continue.
This follows reports that PAS allegedly suggested restructuring PN to grant Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin more operational authority through an executive committee managing day-to-day affairs while party presidents remain in the PN Supreme Council.
Meanwhile, in June, Hamzah dismissed claims of a rift within PN and Bersatu, calling rumours of efforts to oust party leader Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin baseless.
In an interview with Mingguan Malaysia, Hamzah said he would be the first to know if there were any such moves, but no one has approached him.
As Muhyiddin’s deputy in both PN and Bersatu, he stressed it would be foolish for anyone to plan an ouster without discussing succession with him, adding that the rumours were merely outsiders trying to divide the coalition. — Focus Malaysia
