Siti Nurhaliza sings for Harapan-BN crowd
10.35pm: Bukit Antarabangsa, Selangor - National icon Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin performs two songs for Pakatan Harapan-BN supporters at its mega ceramah in Ukay Perdana.
"My home is not far from here. May what is being strived for succeed.
“God willing, things will be for the better," she says after belting out two songs.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who takes the stage after Siti Nurhaliza's performance, jokes that he is waiting to perform a duet with the star.

10.30pm: Hulu Kelang, Selangor - DAP's Hannah Yeoh tells Selangor voters that they will have "failed leaders" like Rina Harun governing the state should Perikatan Nasional win the state polls.
Speaking at a mega ceramah in Taman Permata, she says PN has been using Azmin Ali as its poster boy for the Selangor campaign for his experience as a former Selangor menteri besar.
PN’s Azmin Ali"Yes he has the experience, but at the time he governed the state not with leaders from PN, but he was supported by Pakatan Harapan exco members.
"All the development we achieved (under his leadership) was not his work alone, but Harapan’s collective effort.
"You must be aware, behind this poster boy there are leaders like Rina who will govern Selangor if they win," she adds, referring to the former minister from Bersatu, who is contesting Batu Tiga.

9.02pm: Sekinchan, Selangor - Deputy Communications and Digital Minister Teo Nie Ching urges voters to not take the state polls lightly and expect the incumbent Sekinchan assemblyperson Ng Suee Lim to gain an easy win.
In making the call for supporters to come out and vote, Teo reminds a ceramah crowd that even reformasi princess Nurul Izzah Anwar was defeated in Permatang Pauh - a PKR stronghold.

Jeram residents protest foul smell from poultry farm
7.45pm: Jeram, Selangor - Residents of Kampung Batu Tiga, Jeram in Kuala Selangor protest against a poultry farm near their community.
They carry banners expressing their grievances over the foul smell originating from the chicken farm.
According to Sin Chew Daily, the protest was staged yesterday and the residents complained that this issue had been troubling them for nearly a year.
Amanah’s Kuala Selangor MP Dzulkefly Ahmad says the factory failed to process the chicken droppings properly.
The local government has sealed the factory, the Chinese daily reports.
Bersatu sacks Jerlun chief for contesting as independent
5.30pm: Jerlun, Kedah - Bersatu sacks its Jerlun division chief Abdul Ramli for contesting as an independent candidate in Kedah’s Kota Siputeh state seat.
Bersatu secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin says this is a violation of the party’s rules.

‘Khai Loon collapsed from working too hard’
5pm: Machang Bubuk, Penang - Pakatan Harapan’s Machang Bubuk incumbent Lee Khai Loon collapsed today from working too hard, his office claims.
His office says that Lee has been regularly working from 6am to 1am since last week and frequently missed meals as he sought to balance campaigning and his duties as an incumbent representative.
They add that despite their advice for him to rest, Lee will be attending a fundraising dinner at 7.30pm tonight - where he will also be fielding questions from the media.

Penang Gerakan chief upbeat on party’s chances
4pm: Bayan Baru, Penang - Penang Gerakan chief Oh Tong Keong says he received a positive response from voters, believing that 70 to 80 percent of Malay voters would support him.
When visiting voters at Giant Hypermarket, he tells Malaysiakini that the support rate among Malays is very high, as some were even able to recite the Perikatan Nasional slogan “PN Best”.
Oh says some even imitated caretaker Kedah menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor’s “Lawan Anwar” hand raise.
On whether Gerakan can avoid a wipeout at the polls this time, he is confident that the party will be able to secure seats.
Oh then ends his campaign early to rest as he is feeling unwell.
Tourism minister: If Ng falls, I’ll never come back to Sekinchan
1.45pm: Sekinchan, Selangor - Tourism, Art and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing appeals to Chinese voters in Sekinchan to come out and vote for the DAP candidate Ng Suee Lim.
He also urges the young voters of Sekinchan to come home and vote.
Tourism, Art and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing"They say my arrival in Sekinchan will boost the tourism here, but if the people don't support him (Ng) and if the 'lao da' (Mandarin term for big brother) of Sekinchan falls, I will never come back to Sekinchan," Tiong quips during his speech at a lunch session in a restaurant in Sekinchan.
The interaction and lunch session between Tiong and the Sekinchan Chinese community was organised by Tiong’s ministry.
Around 400 people attend the session, including the incumbent assemblyperson Ng.
Incumbent Penang Harapan rep falls unconscious
12.30pm: Machang Bubuk, Penang - Pakatan Harapan’s Machang Bubuk incumbent Lee Khai Loon has fallen unconscious while being in what appears to be a Harapan office.
“YB Khai Loon fell unconscious, all programmes will be cancelled today. Harap maaf,” according to an administrator of his official Facebook page. 
The post shows a photograph of Lee lying face-down, receiving help from Harapan staff. 
Malaysiakini is attempting to contact Lee’s aides for further information.
Meanwhile, Lee’s assistant tells the local Chinese daily Kwong Wah Yit Poh that the Machang Bubuk candidate had been feeling unwell a few days ago and suddenly experienced dizziness today.
“He is currently conscious, but his physical condition is still being monitored.”
Bachok MP puzzled by PM sharing meeting details with Erdogan
11.20am: PAS’ Bachok MP Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman questions Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s motive for revealing the contents of his virtual meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Anwar previously posted on social media that Erdogan had wished the Madani government success in the six state elections during the virtual meeting they had last night.
“This gives the impression as if Erdogan wants to know about the politics in our country, when it is not the norm for any foreign state leader to interfere in the election of another country,” Syahir says in a statement today.
He also quips in a social media posting that when Anwar has to hang onto an “outside branch” during the state polls, it shows that the prime minister has no strength to stand on his own.
Rafizi takes jab at Sanusi, pities PN’s Gurun candidate
8.45am: Gurun, Kedah - PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli openly admits that Perikatan Nasional has the upper hand in the state polls as it has “clowns” in the likes of Kedah caretaker menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.
PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli“We are fighting against Sanusi, who is PN’s biggest weapon. Why? Because he is a clown. We don’t have such clowns (in PKR). Whoever can crack stupid jokes, can win votes.
“That’s why when Sanusi campaigns, he’s making stupid jokes every day,” he said during a Jelajah Madani ceramah in Gurun last night.
The economy minister also “takes pity” on PN’s Gurun candidate Baddrol Bakhtiar, saying the latter does not have what it takes to be a state assemblyperson.
“To be the people’s representative, you must hone many skills and be good with words, not just reading texts. When asked about your manifesto, don’t just say it’s a surprise.”

Warm welcome for Anwar in Permatang Pauh
8am: Permatang Pauh, Penang - Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is back in Permatang Pauh, a parliamentary seat he served for six terms previously.
Over 3,000 people were present to welcome him back, as he attended the Jelajah Perpaduan Madani ceramah there last night.
As Anwar was leaving the event after his speech, the crowd shouted “kekal lima tahun” (stay on for five years).
Anwar spent about 10 minutes greeting and shaking hands with his supporters. - Mkini
