Pahang, Perlis will get PAS menteris besar - Muhyiddin
10.05am: Perikatan Nasional will have menteris besar from PAS for Perlis and Pahang if the coalition captures the two states in GE15, according to its chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin.
PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man"God willing, Perlis will be captured by PN in GE15, and if that happens, we will have a PAS leader leading the state.
"In Pahang (PAS deputy president) Tuan Ibrahim (Tuan Man) is contesting a parliamentary, and state seat, and if we win in the state, he will become the menteri besar there," Berita Harian quoted Muhyiddin saying at a ceramah in Pendang, Kedah, last night. Both Perlis and Pahang are currently held by BN.
Muhyiddin says PN has no issues letting PAS leaders administer Perlis and Pahang, given their "excellent track record" in states the Islamist party already leads - namely Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu.
The incumbent Pagoh MP also urges Umno supporters to consider speculations that the nationalist party may work with (Pakatan Harapan chairperson) Anwar Ibrahim to form a government, post-GE15.
"BN has admitted that it would not win enough seats to form a government, and (it's) willing to work with anyone to reach the goal.
"I have heard an audio recording between BN and Harapan (leaders), that Anwar will become the prime minister, and (Umno president Ahmad) Zahid (Hamidi) will become his deputy. Also, in Harapan, there is DAP."

He says Malaysians aged below 40 know that the political feud between the duo has persisted for almost their entire lives.
Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad (right) with PKR president Anwar IbrahimThe rift between Mahathir and his then deputy PM Anwar came to a head in 1998, when the latter was arrested and later conviction of sodomy and corruption.
Briefly reconciled in GE14 and in the 22 months that Harapan was in federal power, they are now back on opposing sides.
"It is because of these two that Malaysia faces many problems, and we will continue to lose out if we keep giving them a chance.
"Nov 19 is the best chance to end their political lives and ensure stability and prosperity for all," Shamsul, who is BN's Lenggong candidate, says in a statement.
