Dap Leader Urges Pkr To Join Hands With Friendly Parties To Reset Politics

Citing concerns over a plot to end what he called PKR’s dominance in Pakatan Harapan, he said the fault lay with the party for allowing itself to be divided by external forces
“The release of the sex videos is a manifestation of the ongoing attempts not just to demoralise Azmin but to paint a larger picture that PKR leaders are incapable of administering the country
“The sex videos were more intended to shatter the political career of Azmin than to inquire about the truth. More so, they were intended to inflict collateral damage on PKR and its allies,” he said in a statement
The videos in question have been circulating on social media since last week, when Haziq Aziz, a PKR Youth leader from Sarawak, claimed he was one of two men seen in the clips engaging in homosexual activities
Haziq named Azmin as the other man, a claim the economic affairs minister has strongly denied
P RamasamyRamasamy, who is also Penang deputy chief minister II, questioned the likelihood of Dr Mahathir Mohamad allowing the transfer of power to Anwar Ibrahim as promised, saying nothing is cast in stone
“Knowing Mahathir and his contradictory ways, there is nothing to be taken for granted. Anwar will never know that he will be the prime minister until he takes the oath in front of the king.”Adding that conflict in PKR had “played right into the hands” of Malay right wing forces, he said these had been against Anwar from the beginning and were now poised to “finish off Azmin once and for all”
“At the end of the day, the losers are not Anwar and Azmin but the entire members of PKR, a party that made the monumental change in the last general election
“Unfortunately, the beneficiaries of the last general election are not in PKR but in other parties that latched on to the agenda of change at the last minute to remove one person.”Calling for what he terms “the Second Reformasi”, he urged PKR members to “join forces with fraternal parties to reset the political path of the nation”
“It is never too late, forget about the videos,” he added. - FMT
