Chinese Deepseek Freight Train Slams American Tech Stocks And Chatbots

 IN 2024 CHINA REGISTERED OVER 11,000 PATENTS IN ROBOTICS. 
One of the Chinese robotics patents involved the following super amazing "dog" robot the Unitree B2-W Robot Dog.
When I first saw the videos about this 'dog' robot I thought it was a fake video done using AI. (India recently "made" a video of their space rocket "docking" in space using AI imaging. No one has seen any original videos of the "docking" thus casting much doubt on the whole event). 
Here is a three minute video. It is a must see.  



 
A few months back a small group (about SIX of them) of Chinese computer fellows released DeepSeek a Chinese chatbot. In a very short time Deepseek has outperformed the likes of OpenAI's Chat GPT,  Google's Gemini and Microsoft's Copilot. 
Google spent about US$50 Billion (FIFTY BILLION US DOLLARS) or close to RM220 billion to develop their Chatbot !! It also took them a few years, employing thousands of their engineers, mathematicians and computer programmers.  OpenAI and Microsoft also spent billions of US Dollars. 
The Chinese boys produced DeepSeek on a budget of less than US$6.0 million and they did it in a matter of months. And now DeepSeek is climbing past No. 1 position.
Deepseek is just beginning to create earthquakes and shockwaves throughout the tech industry. As you are reading this share prices of American and other tech stocks are taking a beating. Here is The Economist with a synopsis:

Coming back to that robot above it really is super agile. You do not need this type of agility and stability to deliver food at a fast food restaurant or do household chores at home (Elon Musk's idea for a robotic housemaid).


 
This is clearly a robot dog with military applications. Imagine a thousand of these robot dogs fitted with a suppressed rifle or machine gun (with silencer) coming at break neck speed over any type of terrain. The defending army will have little chance.  (You can get the idea from the above short video clip). Or carrying a 10 kg explosive charge and rushing straight into a tank or military truck.   Or 10 of these robots speeding across to the middle of a bridge and then exploding altogether.  London Bridge will fall down.
