Casio To Release Special Edition Pro Trek Smart
Featuring a Scratch-Resistant Sapphire Crystal
Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it will release a special edition model in the PRO TREK Smart series of wrist devices for people who love fitness and outdoor activities. The WSD-F30SC features many sophisticated exterior treatments and finishes, and only 1,000 watches will be sold worldwide.
The new WSD-F30SC comes with a Field Composite Band made from urethane with metal inserts and fine resin for extra durability. Excellent for a broad range of situations from outdoor activities to everyday use, it offers the elegant look of metal with the durability and wearability of urethane and fine resin. The touchscreen of the WSD-F30SC uses scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-fouling coating, for optimum visibility. The bezel is finished in a subtle combination of black and blue with a nano treatment on the inner bezel that lends a sophisticated and refined look to the bezel. The buttons and screws are treated with ion plating for excellent abrasion resistance and receive a rose gold finish that gives a look of understated brilliance.
Like its base model, the WSD-F30, the WSD-F30SC comes with Extend Mode, which enables the use of offline colour maps and GPS for up to three days on just a single charge, * all in a compact and thin case. The outstanding features of the WSD-F30SC include colour OLED for showing maps and data in finer detail, and monochrome display that simultaneously shows the atmospheric pressure/altitude and compass bearing so the user can view essential information at a glance.
