Call It What You Like Anwar Is Trying To Steal The Government

Anwar is keeping the secret of who is in his new government and what kind of new government it is going to be until he meets the Agong. But one thing that is no secret is he needs both sides of the political divide to succeed. Frogs and crossovers would have to be legitimised and friends would need to become foes while adversaries would become comrades. And it is going to be a government stolen from Perikatan Nasional. THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
When Tun Dr Mahathir cried during one Umno general assembly and lamented that he had failed to change the Malay mindset and that Malays are too emotional and feudalistic compared to the more pragmatic Chinese, there was a deep meaning to it, and it is related to what he wrote in his book “The Malay Dilemma” 33 years earlier.
Mahathir must not be analysed from just a certain point of his 75 years or so political career. That would be merely looking at it from a brush-strokes view. To see the entire tapestry clearly, Mahathir must be analysed over 75 years.
And analysed over the longer period would reveal that Mahathir is consistently inconsistent and that he adapts and adopts to changing situations. In short, Mahathir is a political animal, and hence does not allow truth and principles to get in the way of a good plot.
That, in essence, is what Mahathir means by “pragmatic”, a Chinese characteristic Mahathir says the Malays should adopt. And principles, consistency, truth, honesty, etc., have no place in pragmatism. Pragmatism means the end justifies the means — matlamat menghalalkan cara.

Anwar joined Umno and not PAS because he had planned to become Prime Minister as far back as 44 years ago The closest person Mahathir has to a protégée is Anwar Ibrahim (although Mahathir wishes it is Mokhzani instead). And if you analyse what Anwar has done, and is still doing, it is basically political moves out of Mahathir’s playbook.
Some political analysts have asked whether Tuesday is going to be the end of Anwar’s 22-year wait to become Prime Minister. The fact they said that shows they do not understand Anwar.
It is not “Anwar’s 22-year wait to become Prime Minister”, it is “Anwar’s 44-year wait to become Prime Minister” — and if I need to explain why it is 44 years and not 22 years then you should go play in the corner with the kids and not get involved in a grown-up conversation.
Mahathir waited for 24 years to eventually become Prime Minister in 1981. And he planned every move and hatched all sorts of plots to oust all his rivals and potential rivals — Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Hussein Onn, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, Tun Ghazali Shafie, Tun Musa Hitam, and many more. (Had Tun Razak Hussein not died prematurely he would be on that list as well).
In short, anyone who moves or pops his/her head up is a target and needs to be taken out.

Tengku Razaleigh, just like Anwar, is a PM-in-waiting since 44 years ago The fact that Mahathir did not want Anwar in Umno and Tengku Razaleigh had to persuade him to allow Anwar into Umno reveals that Mahathir already considered Anwar a rival even back in 1981.
When there was a danger Anwar might join PAS instead, Mahathir reluctantly allowed Anwar into Umno in 1982.
But Mahathir did not trust Anwar (being the true politician that he is, Mahathir trusts no one). So, Mahathir had the Special Branch monitor Anwar 24-7. And that was when they discovered that Anwar had a very active clandestine sex life, which included men, boys, prostitutes and other people’s wives.
In short, Anwar was suffering from a predicament of not being able to keep his dick in his pants.
And Mahathir kept a file on this, to be used in the event Anwar tries to do a Brutus on him.
In 1997, Mahathir tested Anwar by allowing him to take over as Acting-Prime Minister for two months. Mahathir wanted to see what Anwar would do. And when Anwar tried to get Parliament to approve a new anti-corruption law that would allow the government to go for you even after you have retired, Mahathir knew Anwar was sharpening his knife.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi tried to help Anwar get back into Umno in 2004 but the Umno Supreme Council and Mahathir blocked the move And that was when Mahathir decided Anwar must be killed.
Realising that he had blundered and now Mahathir was preparing to finish him off, Anwar made his move. It was either kill or be killed. And Anwar had all but three of the Umno Supreme Council members with him.
Mahathir then decided to draw Anwar out by calling for an Umno Supreme Council meeting. He knew Anwar had more than 20 bullets in his gun versus only three in Mahathir’s gun. So, Mahathir went into that Supreme Council meeting outgunned by Anwar. But then Mahathir had a bomb to use against Anwar’s many guns. And that bomb was the Special Branch report regarding Anwar’s many sodomy cases.
Mahathir was a dead man walking when he entered the meeting room. By the end of the meeting, Anwar was wiped out. Anwar’s guns were no match for Mahathir’s bomb. Mahathir was by far the better Game of Thrones player than Anwar.
So, it has been a long 44-year walk to Putrajaya for Anwar. It took Mahathir 24 years to arrive and he stayed for 24 years (as PM4 and PM7). Will Anwar’s 44-year wait finally end this Tuesday?

If Umno is in, DAP is out Nevertheless, call it what you like, this Tuesday Anwar is attempting to steal the government, the government that he alleges is illegal and has been stolen from the rakyat. Anwar wants to steal the government he says is stolen to suggest that stealing something that has been stolen is halal.
However, to be able to steal the government, Anwar needs the support of both Umno and DAP. And to make sure he gets the support of Umno (and not lose the support of PAN) Anwar has declared his new government is going to be a Malay-Islamic government.
When exactly entails a Malay-Islamic government? Is the NEP, Article 153, Hudud, the Sharia, anti-LGBT, anti-Bahasa Malaysia Bible using the word “Allah”, etc., included? If not, then how would his new government be a Malay-Islamic government?

Anwar is keeping the secret of who is in his new government and what kind of new government it is going to be until he meets His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong. But one thing that is no secret is he needs both sides of the political divide to succeed. Frogs and crossovers would have to be legitimised and friends would need to become foes while adversaries would become comrades. And it is going to be a government stolen from Perikatan Nasional.
