Bounty For Indira S Ex Hubby Suspected Of Under Extremist Religious Groups Protection Raised To Rm50k

THE Indira Gandhi Action Team (INGAT) has vowed to go after anyone – be it the authorities, institution or religious NGOs found to be harbouring or protecting Muhammad Riduan Abdullah @ K. Patmanathan.
The NGO founded in February 2019 by civil society members to assist kindergarten teacher M. Indira Gandhi locate her youngest daughter, Prasana Diksa, who was abducted by her Muslim convert ex-husband in 2009 has even raised its bounty for information leading to Riduan’s arrest to RM50,000 from RM10,000 previously.
“We suspect direct or indirect support (accorded to Riduan) from extremist religious organisations, NGOs or political groups as well as certain state religious institutions,” INGAT chairman Arun Dorasamy pointed out in a Facebook post.
“We’ve also identified Riduan’s potential hide-outs to be in the vicinity of Pasir Puteh (Kelantan), Sintok (Kedah), Penang, Perlis as well as a possible exit route via lorong tikus (illegal routes) to Southern Thailand.”
The legal & advocacy unit head of Hindu NGO Agamam Ani Malaysia had on Tuesday (Oct 28) hosted a media conference whereby he questioned the conduct and integrity of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in its on-going hunt for Riduan despite multiple court orders, including from the Federal Court in 2016.

In fact, transaction records have shown that Riduan has:
Withdrawn his Employees Provident Fund (KWSP) savings;Renewed his vehicle road tax and driving licence;Paid fines and summonses under his registered identity;Received government subsidies such as BUDI MADANI RON95 (Budi95) and the one-off RM100 Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) cash assistance*;Attended school functions and community events under his known alias – all within the Malaysian borders.* Checks by Malaysiakini based on Riduan’s IC found that he had fully utilised the one-off RM100 SARA cash aid and nearly 100 litres from the 300-litre Budi95 fuel subsidy quota (for month of October 2025).

IGP taken to task
All in all, INGAT has demanded the case to be immediately transferred to Bukit Aman under the direct supervision of the Inspector-General of Polie (IGP) himself with transparent weekly progress disclosures.
This is because PDRM has since 2022 filed 18 affidavits under INGAT’s judicial monitoring process before the Penang High Court – all affirmed by Ipoh IPD (district police headquarters) officers – claiming that “active search efforts” have been underway but without yielding any results.
Enough is enough. After 16 years, Malaysians are still asking the same question — where is Riduan Abdullah @ Patmanathan Krishnan?
A man wanted under a Federal Court Mandamus Order for the abduction of his own daughter, Prasana Diksa – yet somehow continues to enjoy full freedom in Malaysia.
Riduan is not in Thailand nor is he some phantom the police cannot find. He’s very much in Malaysia – moving freely, buying groceries, re-fuelling his car, attending PIBG (parents-teachers meeting) and even renewing his passport – all under the nose of the same police force that claims to be “hunting him down”.
So, IGP, what exactly are you protecting? A criminal fugitive or the failures of your institution?
Is this the “robust and special task force” that was formed in April 2019 with so much fanfare?
If this is what “special task force” means – no accountability, no visibility, no results – then the Malaysian public deserves to know the real definition of non-feasance and institutional protectionism.”
