Bicyclist Grabs Attention With Signal Light Installation At The Rear

RIDING a bike is no joke. Go any faster than 70km per hour and the rider will suffer the same injury of a motorcyclist if he were to make a sudden, abrupt stop.
That said, any safety conscious biker won’t step out of their home without a good old helmet, and some knee and arm guard too.
But some creative individuals decide to go the extra mile as seen in this video post on X by netizen @update11111.
What better way to protect oneself from the passing vehicles than by broadcasting to them your intended movement. And a guy does exactly that by installing two signal lights just below the rear seat.

According to netizen @update11111 who posted the video, it looks funny but was actually very useful for the bicyclist and the cars. Sadly, the light wasn’t very noticeable in the daylight. However, marks must be given for effort and creativity.
But trust us when we say this innovation is relatively tame compared to all the other modifications out there. On an unrelated note, The-LBS.com said a flying bicycle was once conceived, combining a conventional bike with a trailer containing a large fan, fuel for the vehicle, and a flexible fold-away wing.

The website further claimed that the bike was capable of flying up to 4,000 feet, reach speeds of 25 mph and 15 mph on the ground. “This bicycle looks like something out of a sci-fi movie, as it features three wheels and a motor fan powered by a 249cc engine. It features a three-hour flight time,” said the website.
We hope our bicyclist friend with the rear signal lights don’t get any crazy ideas if he happen to be reading this. — Focus Malaysia
