Amar Singh Denies Xavier Justo S Allegation

(Sun Daily) – Police vehemently denied today a claim made by 1MDB whistleblower and former PetroSaudi executive Xavier Andre Justo that a team of police officers from Bukit Aman had forced him to make confessions and sing praises of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak.
The Swiss had claimed that he was told by the team to confess publicly that “Najib was the best prime minister”.
He also alleged that he was told to say that he “liked money and Tarek and Petrosaudi were nice”.
Federal police commercial crimes investigations department (CCID) director Commissioner Datuk Seri Amar Singh who the Swiss said was among the three officers of the team rebutted the allegations.
“It’s total nonsense and there is no such thing. It is true that I led the team but there is no truth to this 100%. This is stupid.” he told theSun when contacted.
Amar said the CCID will issue a media statement on the matter.
However, as of 11.30pm today, the was no sign of the statement from police.

It was reported that Justo had made the claims at the financial crimes and terrorism conference 2018 that was held at a hotel here.
The former banker alleged that the incident occurred when he was serving an 18-month prison term in Bangkok in 2015.
Justo alleged that the Bukit Aman police team had arrived in Bangkok with 55 questions for a quiz session with him and “guided” him into answering the questions which he described was self-incriminating.
Justo also claimed as a result of meeting with Malaysian police, he was denied a deportation to Switzerland for him to serve his jail term which the Thai authorities had agreed to.
He also said that he suspects the Malaysian authorities had a hand in disrupting the deportation process.
