Amanah Mp Expresses Concern On Hate Politics After Vehicle Vandalised
Sri Gading MP Aminolhuda Hassan has expressed concern over the effect of hate politics in the country, after a vehicle operated by his service centre in Batu Pahat, Johor, was vandalised on Saturday.
In a short Facebook video clip published earlier today, the Amanah leader showed the extensive damage to the Toyota Estima caused by a man, who has since been arrested by police.
According to the politician, the man had hit the MPV’s windshield with an object at least 17 times, broken its wipers, side mirrors, and back glass, among others.
Aminolhuda’s picture on the side of the vehicle was also partly damaged in the 10am incident.

Sri Gading MP Aminolhuda Hassan“What have I done wrong to deserve this, even my photo got smeared. I’d like to thank the authorities for their quick action in this case.
“However, I am worried about the culture of sowing hatred towards political leaders.
“Maybe it’s not that bad if the people you hate are the evil people who steal from the rakyat. Me? Allahuakbar, I believe the people of Sri Gading and Parit Yaani know me better,” he said in the video posted on Amanah’s official Facebook page.

Meanwhile, Batu Pahat district police chief Shahrulanuar Mushaddat Abdullah Sani said an investigation had led to the arrest of a 37-year-old suspect at a house in Tongkang Pechah, Batu Pahat, about 3pm on Saturday.
“Police have also seized a vehicle, clothing, and tools that the suspect used when he committed the offence,” he said.
A urine test also revealed the suspect was positive for methamphetamine.
The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code, and police have secured a four-day remand order against the man. - Mkini
