she was employee of the afterschool care facility
She is currently in the Mater Hospital.

A number of people intervened, man was restrained at the scene
Passers-by subdued suspect, took knife and threw it across the street 
My Comments: 
Other reports say that the knife attacker was a 52 year old Arab immigrant from Algeria who had been living in Ireland for 20 years. He was a naturalised citizen of Ireland.
The knife attack sparked riots in Dublin which was quickly controlled by the police.  
I have said this before. The Islamic countries should get together and pass a fatwa that Muslims should NOT go and live in non-Muslim countries especially in western countries. 
Remember this : On the evening of 14 July 2016, a 19-tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France, resulting in the deaths of 86 people and the injury of 434 others. The driver was Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, a Tunisian living in France.
Why do these people want to go to other people's countries to aggravate them and also to aggravate themselves? Just leave other people alone.
The western countries and also other kafir people's countries like Japan, China, South Korea are so nice, clean, hygienic, they are rich, relatively happy, they have jobs, businesses, they live quite well. Why do you want to go to their countries and create chaos and trouble in their countries?
Stay inside your own country and burn it down.  
 
Escaping with their lives to Europe. How many will become killers, knife attackers, suicide bombers?
