Zahid Reminded Of His Own Power Craze After He Warns Bn Members Of No Way Back After Leaving Coalition

DETRACTORS who presumably include UMNIO grassroots with an axe to grind with their president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi have trolled the latter of his “No DAP, No Anwar” betrayal to his own party after he warned Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties against hastily leaving the coalition.
Although no party was specifically mentioned, the statement is believed to target MIC who has threatened to exit BN over strained relationship prompted by neglect of sorts by Zahid himself in his capacity as chairman of the coalition founded in 1974 (the original Alliance Party was founded in 1952 by UMNO and MCA before MIC joining in 1955).
“Don’t make a decision just because you’re’ power crazy’ and overlook the fact that we’ve been friends for over 70 years,” he spoke at the at the All-Malaysia Indian Progressive Front (IPF Malaysia) 33rd General Assembly. “I’m worried that some parties will end up hanging themselves without a rope,”
Sadly for Zahid who is also the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM), his statement featured on Buletin TV3’s Facebook page seemed to have provoked many UMNO grassroot members who are still sore over his deemed treachery to the party by “violating the pledge he took in the name of Allah” to conveniently engage DAP for his own political survival.

One commenter even described BN as “just a ride-hailing party that is unaware of itself picking at the edge of a bushel” while others contended that “the woes of BN wouldn’t recover with Zahid around” nor “would UMNO win (in an election)”.

Zahid was also advised against being arrogant given that “every BN-linked party is clinging to a dead branch which could break at any time”.
“UMNO shouldn’t be arrogant and conceited … thankfully, PH (Pakatan Harapan) has extended a hand to prevent you guys from drowning,” sounded one commenter.

Interestingly, one commenter perceived the caution espoused by Zahid as an appeal to component parties not to leave BN.to join other major coalitions lest “UMNO-BN would he buried for good like how it was rejected in the recent Sabah state pills”.
Others felt that UMNO can only discover its lifeline after “Zahid and his henchmen have left UMNO”.

Last but not least, some even insinuated that the UMNO head honcho has no better option but to safeguard his position while loyally be subservient to the Madani government given that his DNAA (discharge not amounting to acquittal) from 47 prima facie corruption charges “already serve as an albatross around his neck”.
