Why Is Private Primary Secondary Schools Springing Up Everywhere Education Minister
There seems to be rise in private primary and secondary schools all around our country lately.
The student enrollment at these institutions are increasing annually.
The reason for this rise should be our government school must be playing politics and religion, rather than providing good quality education that is needed for one to face reality of working life in time to come.
Primary school should be the base for a strong education foundation with knowledge and skills required to face this competitive world we live in.
But what happens in our government schools, sad to say, school children have to attend daily tuition classes to keep abreast to gain a strong education foundation. How many of the poor citizens can really afford to send their children to these tuition centres. What is going to happen to this class of poor students. Are they going to be a menace to society in time to come.
The Education Ministry should visit these Private Schools to find out why there is a surge of students to get quality education.
Wearing what colour shoe is really not important.
Is a student getting a good quality education is what we should aim for.
Our Education Minister, since taking office, has failed to demonstrate that he is capable of revamping the education system in Malaysia.
Our previous UMNO/BN government had politicized education for their self-interest. Our students receive poor educational skills in government schools and these batch of students will fail this nation given time if we continue to follow this ridiculous education policy.
Our school leavers must be well educated and with the required skill and knowledge required to face the future work force. Relying on the government to give them employment should never arise and should never be cultivated.
Our new PH government will have to seriously address these shortcomings immediately if we want a educated, skillful and knowledgeable work force needed in the coming years. -Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
