What Are The Odds Of Three Accidents Happening Within 10 Seconds At The Same Place

LIGHTNING won’t strike the same spot twice, or at least, the probability of lightning striking the same spot twice is negligible that people wouldn’t consider it in the first place.
But what if we were to witness lightning striking, not once, but three times in the same place? Well not exactly lightning, but three accidents caught on video, all occurring within a span of 10 seconds.
Perhaps this very rare occurrence portents some disaster that will visit us in the future. No one could tell. Regardless, it is certainly a sight to behold.
In the video post on X by netizen @anthraxxxx, the initial trigger came in the form of a reckless motorcyclist scraping the side of the car of a lady driver.

It doesn’t look like much, but wait. She opened the door of her car to investigate, only to have another motorcyclist crash into the door.
Neighboring her, the driver of a Proton Saga did the same, causing another motorcyclist to crash into his door. The chain reaction was as mind boggling as it was astounding. We can all agree this is not a good day to be a motorcyclist.
Netizen @mszik1 who watched the video,  however, was not impressed. According to him, the incident happened all because of the foolishness of the three people in the video.

Another netizen pointed out that they should have checked their side mirrors before simply opening the car door.  He said where incident two and three are concerned, the motorcyclists could claim damages from the car owner.

Then there was @Naxa83 saying the road itself was bad luck for causing these three accidents. “It is all the fault of the motorcyclist,” added a broad brushing @BaleendahP.
On another note, there can be only one winner in this incident of negligence and carelessness, and that is the workshop that fix the bent chasis, touch up all that scrapped paint, and put those bikes back into working order.
And we are certain those two drivers will learn to check their side mirrors before opening their doors again. Either that or they will have to pay more to relearn their lessons. — Focus Malaysia
