We Re Living Our Past

Wrote this back when I was a few years younger. I'm not that old tho but I did feel kinda old now as my birthday is getting near. This might not be a good read but I did pour out my mind a few years ago while writing this.

People will keep on living with their past close to them.
I kinda like this quote. I'm not actually sure whether this is a quite or just a plain words. It's a monologue from one of the characters from the mangas I read. Yes, I'm a fan of mangas, comics and anime and so on. IT calms me. Of course, I do read novels but hey, it's okay to read both right.

Even if it seems childish I cannot disagree with the fact that I did learn a lot from just reading mangas. I should read something different but this feeling of joy I got while reading mangas actually took me away from the world's harsh reality.

"Face it. The reality.", they said.

Yes, I am trying. But y'know sometimes we just need a break. A break from everything. Take a look back on ourselves. Do what we want, Fulfil your every desire which your years for. Give it a chance to break free from your self-protection cage that lies deep within you. Sometimes, we are too scared of being hurt. And it takes more than just a courage to do something. And that makes us even more scared of the reality.

Scared of being hurt by the reality.

The reality is not a beautiful as it seems. But hey, don't be shaken by it cuz we're living in the same world. We're living in a cruel world with a bunch ridiculously cruel reality. So no matter what happens, no one is alone. When you think that you're alone, it's your head that needs to be fixed. What you think matters most. You are what you think.

Being yourself isn't bad at all. We make mistakes, we do bad things and even forget how precious we are to other people out there. We were scared that the things we did in the past would destroy everything we had in the present and even the future. We were  scared to do many things thinking we would make the same mistake and what's worst is being hated for it.

It will take some times before we discover it, that little courage which was left deep within. We were insecure after being hurt so many times. We decided to forget it. But that was all a lie. No one can ever forget it. The Past. It never leave. It'll always follow us wherever we go. It's up to us to accept it and make it a part of our little portion of courage. So that someday we can use a drop of it whenever we're having a hard time.
