Umno Sabah Leaders Never Asked To Join Pkr
Umno is now the battleground between Mahathir and Anwar. And it looks like Mahathir is winning. If Mahathir ‘outvotes’ Anwar by getting the highest number of Umno defectors, then Anwar’s plan to oust Mahathir and take over as Prime Minister in early 2019 is going to fail and will have to be abandoned.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER

Anwar Ibrahim said former Umno Sabah leaders had offered to cross over to PKR but he refused to accept them for the sake of Pakatan Harapan’s ‘reform agenda’. Furthermore, said Anwar, PKR has a sufficient majority in Parliament (READ MORE BELOW).
“I told them it would be difficult at this juncture for PKR to accept them because the general mood of the public is to support PH and our reform agenda. We want to defend the integrity and the principles of our struggle so that it will not disrupt the reform and changes that we want to achieve,” Anwar said.
That is the biggest poppycock since Hitler told Britain 80 years ago that Germany has no intention of invading Poland. ‘Reform agenda’, ‘integrity and principles of our struggle’ — these are Anwar’s favourite phrases which he has milked for 20 years since 1998. Anwar will never allow any words to leave his mouth unless they include ‘reform agenda’ and ‘integrity and principles of our struggle’.
Anwar is telling Mahathir if PPBM accepts the Umno Sabah leaders then the old man has no principles
Anwar is no different from a snake-oil salesman at a bus terminal. They will claim their snake-oil cures every known disease and can also increase your sexual prowess so that you can go ten rounds till dawn and still be strong for another round after breakfast. Anwar’s hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a knife.
None of the Umno Sabah leaders asked to join PKR. In fact, they would not join PKR even if Anwar dropped his pants and bent over. There is no intention for any Umno Sabah leader to join PKR so Anwar must be hallucinating. They also know Anwar has a very slim chance of being PM8 so why waste their time with Anwar?
Anwar is trying to pre-empt the possibility that these former Umno people may join PPBM. If that happens, PKR will no longer control the highest number of seats in parliament. Anwar just wants to ‘shame’ Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad by saying PKR has rejected these ‘rubbish’ so if Mahathir accepts them then PPBM is a rubbish bin.
None of the Umno Sabah leaders asked to join PKR
The fact is, Umno is split into two: those who support Mahathir and those who support Anwar. Those who support Mahathir are leaving Umno while those who support Anwar will stay. But it appears like ‘Team Mahathir’ is bigger than ‘Team Anwar’.
That is what this is all about and also why Anwar said he rejects the former Umno Sabah leaders — giving an impression the former Umno Sabah leaders had asked to join PKR when in actual fact they never have any intention to do so. That is vintage Anwar Ibrahim — main wayang.

PKR rejected crossover offers from Sabah Umno leaders, says Anwar
(FMT) – PKR said today former leaders of Sabah Umno had offered to cross over to the party but PKR decided not to take them in for the sake of Pakatan Harapan’s reform agenda.
Party president Anwar Ibrahim said PKR also had sufficient majority in Parliament.
“I told them it would be difficult at this juncture for PKR to accept them because the general mood of the public is to support PH and our reform agenda.
“We want to defend the integrity and the principles of our struggle so that it will not disrupt the reform and changes that we want to achieve,” he said.
Anwar was speaking after launching PKR vice-president Tian Chua’s new book titled “Lakaran Jiwa Merdeka: Catatan dari Penjara Kajang” in Universiti Malaya.
Commenting on the exodus of 36 elected representatives, senators and division heads in Sabah from Umno, Anwar declined to name those who had approached PKR.
He said it would not be proper for him to name the leaders, especially since PKR had not accepted them and had no intention to pursue the matter further.
Although the four MPs and nine state assemblymen who left Umno said they were now independents, speculation is rife that they would join PPBM, which has yet to start its chapter in Sabah.
Fuelling such talk was confirmation by PPBM chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad yesterday that several Sabah Umno leaders had approached him before making their decision to quit Umno.
Anwar said PH coalition partners must remain committed to its agenda if they wanted to successfully reform the government.
He said it was “up to PPBM to consider these views”.
Meanwhile, Anwar also commented on news reports that he had met former tourism minister and Umno’s Padang Rengas MP Mohamed Nazri Aziz.
He said he had met many leaders from the opposite side, including Nazri, in Parliament, pointing out that he was always ready to discuss PH’s reform agenda with anyone.
Commenting on requests to not shame former prime minister Najib Razak, Anwar said the investigations being undertaken were not done to humiliate him but to uphold the rule of law.
He said if there was a basis for the investigating authorities and the attorney-general to prosecute Najib then it was their duty to charge him and he supported the decision to do so.
