Ukraine Nato S No Action Talk Only

 In the 21st century the US and the UK only attack countries that have no paved roads, no internal plumbing and where people still live in mud huts. Like Afghanistan, Iraq. In the 1960s they also attacked Vietnam. Later they said they did not know why they attacked Vietnam. They also said they did not find any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
Anyway here is a two minute update by Colonel Douglas MacGregor on the Ukraine situation.  



The rainy season has begun in the Ukraine and the ground gets muddy and boggy. It is difficult for heavy vehicles and tanks to manouevre around. The muddy conditions will last until the cold weather sets in (late October, November) when the ground freezes and hardens again.

From what I have read and watched the Russians are wearing down and degrading the Ukrainian Army.
First of all we do not see pictures of many dead Russian soldiers. There are also few or no pictures of large civilian deaths.   Many Ukrainian refugees have arrived safely in neighbouring countries like Poland.

 
The Russians are minimising casualties among their own soldiers and among the civilian population. 
However the Russians have been successfully luring the Ukrainian Army into open and non-strategic areas and attacking them with artillery and airpower. Observers like Alexander Mercouris say that the Ukraine Army has lost large numbers of men, material and equipment.
The Russian objective now is to push Ukraine into peace negotiations. This may not happen until the ground hardens again in winter.
