This morning we were having breakfast at one of our favorite joints. The place was full. The people looked normal and cool.  Like nothing unusual had happened. No one appeared concerned or agitated.
My view is the people do not seem to care about the goings on involving those folks.  Actually I detect a sense of relief among the people that the fellow has quit the scene. 
For all Malaysians, certainly for the Malays and Muslims, it was an embarrassment when those half naked pictures and the videos appeared on social media showing a young woman in  sexual encounters with different men.  
I think the people would actually have cared much less - if not for the fact that the fellow had made Tun Dr Mahathir wait so long on that election night.  Many people became quite angry that their favorite choice for Prime Minister could be snubbed by an actually unknown person.  And that was how the people came to dislike him. 
Now his exit from the scene is being greeted with all sorts of jokes and insults. I have been receiving quite a few via WhatsApps since yesterday - none of which I can reproduce in this space. 
These folks have to really wake up and smell the nasi lemak. It has actually gone quite bad. Sudah lama bau basi. 
It is high time they realise that they have actually been reduced to ceremony.A clasp of the hands,  wearing a certain colour,  stiff clothes, ceremony, more rituals.Like one sees in old Hollywood movies or Hollywood movies about tribal people around the world. 
No one really misses them. Or will miss them. Times have changed. This is the twenty first century.
Even those who do miss them are now in deep embarrassment. The die hards. That one fellow asked the AG to take action action against the rumours that were circulating. They are not  rumours anymore. The fellow has quit.  
Question : What happens when rumours you did not like turn out to be true? Answer : Embarrassment. Malulah.  
The embarrassment seems to be continuous. Non stop.
