 Assalamualaikum.
I know, it had been months since I'm married. Bak kata pepatah orang Belanda, "dah basi". But, I don't care! Hihi. Eh, blog kita, suka hati la kan. So, I wanna share a little bit of our journey to tie the knot.
August 2021
Dia macam drama yang tak berapa nak dramatic sangat bila mak I call suruh kawin je masa PKP 3.0. I was, "Are you serious mak? Like really, really??" Tanpa membuang masa, terus bagitahu Meo, and Meo pun macam tak percaya. Suprisingly, suruh langsung je akad nikah di Selangor. Please bare in your mind, masa ni PKP 3.0 and tak boleh nak rentas negeri. Actually, boleh je rentas negeri at that time if you have valid reason for solemnization but.. yahhh.. I malas nak explain sebab our families yang bagi green light for us to just proceed in Selangor.
End of August, Meo settlekan Kursus Pra Perkahwinan dia. I advanced dari dia, tahun 2012 I dah ambil kursus tu, boleh baca kat SINI. So, I study la sikit macam mana nak isi borang dan sebagainya. Sejujurnya, I agak annoyed dengan pengurusan Pejabat Agama Islam Daerah Hulu Langat and I rasa semua tahu kot sebab banyak complaints di Google Review. Bila dorang buat sistem online, instruction yang diberi pun ada yang tak jelas. Luckily Meo pergi kursus kahwin (nak isi online untuk kursus pra perkahwinan pun entah apa-apa sistem dia) and I minta dia tanya dekat ustaz yang bagi talk masa tu.
September-October 2021
During this period, we settled all the required forms needed. To take HIV test, we need to set the appointment through KKM's website. Can you imagine, in early September, all dates were fully reserved until end of October. I tried KK Semenyih, luckily, there was a slot at early October. Looks like, we need to postponed our date cause we expected to marry in September.
After settled the HIV test, we need to wait for appointment with JAIS Hulu Langat on early of November. From August to November, it took about 4 months 😅 and during the whole time, my husband always advised me this 1 word: PATIENT. Alhamdulillah, without Allah's permission, I wouldn't be able to have a patient in deal all those stuffs and we met many good peoples who helped us to ease the procedures.
November 2021
Yeay! At last, we submitted all the documents and got a date. At that time, our country had passed PKP period, and you can choose to have your solemnity at Pejabat Agama or mosque. Since both of us are not Selangorian, the better choice is Pejabat Agama. We just invited our relatives to our solemnization ceremony since there are SOPs we need to follow. Alhamdulillah, with one word, I'm officially Mrs Zizie 😍
Sorry, I can't put many of my husband's photos since he do not like to be publicize in my blog. Enjoy the photos from our marriage ceremony.
I requested natural make up because heavy makeup is not my thing. Well, I don't want my children ask me why my face is so different from my real face 🤣
Only bride, groom and bride's Wali were allowed in the room. They provided a monopod for you to record the ceremony. The position in the hall: I sat facing the Kadi & witness, while Meo at my left side and Abah at my right side.
Alhamdulillah, with one lafaz, I'm officially Meo's wife. By the way, every couple need to settled in    15 minutes. We even not manage to take picture on the pelamin prepared behind my back because we run out of the time. The next couple already standby for their turn. Can you imagine how fast the process 🤣 Batal air sembahyang pun dalam kereta ye....
Thank you mak, abah, mak, ayah and our family members for being with us. At first place, I chose wakalah wali, in case my Abah cannot attend due to Covid's circumstances. When he able to attend, Kadi let him be my Wali. Thus, I have two options and Kadi was the one who suggested to me to make wakalah wali.
Everything were arranged by me and husband. Meo was very helpful since he is such an excellent decision maker. We are so happy because everything went so well and everyone love the food.
