So What If Pas Works With Umno In The Spirit Of Perpaduan Ummah

Over the weekend, the mainstream and social media kecoh dengan news about PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang and Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle Brown settling their civil suit out of court. This suit is regarding the allegation that Umno and/or former Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak gave PAS a donation (some call it bribe) of RM90 million.
The critics say this proves the incident did happen. If not, then why settle the case out of court? They further say this is proof that PAS is ‘collaborating’ with Umno. That is why PAS or Hadi do not wish to proceed with the case.
Kalau ye pun, apa salahnya Melayu dan Melayu bersatu?
Over the last five years alone, many defamation cases have been settled out of court. But no one says those out-of-court settlements are proof that the allegation is either true or false. Why, in this case, the out-of-court settlement is taken as proof that Clare is right and Hadi is guilty?

The definition of settling outside court merely means both sides agree not to fight any further, correct? Where does it talk about winning or losing the court case?
To proceed with the court case means PAS needs to budget for at least RM5 million and, so far, PAS has had to launch two crowd-fundings to cover the legal cost. And they may have to do another few crowd-fundings before the court case ends, which is going to be total waste of money.
Look, bukan semua orang senang-senang boleh dapat “funding” dari Yahudi. Jadi, not all can just throw money like that.
The purpose of the suit was to force Clare to prove her allegation. In spite of the extended time given, Clare failed to submit the evidence in court. That was all PAS wanted, for Clare to declare she does not have the evidence, and that was what PAS got. So, end of story, case closed.
So, as far as we are concerned, Clare is lying.
On the issue that this proves Umno and PAS are collaborating, so what? Are not PPBM, Amanah and PKR, all one-time enemies of DAP, also collaborating with DAP? They have been collaborating with the kafir some more.
It is about time Umat Islam terutamanya orang Melayu bersatu in the spirit of perpaduan ummah.
