So Now What Happens To All The Promises Made In Budget 2023

The PM says he met the YDP Agong on Sunday afternoon (9th October 2022, yesterday) to get the YDP Agong's consent to dissolve Parliament.
Two days before on Friday 7th October (at 4PM) the Minister of Finance Zafrul delivered the Budget 2023 speech in Parliament.
From Zafrul's Budget speech at 4PM on Friday until the PM meeting the YDP Agong on Sunday afternoon would be about 48 hours.

Surely the Prime Minister must have known (on Friday) that he would be meeting the King on Sunday to ask to dissolve Parliament.
So why get the Finance Minister to still deliver the Budget speech on Friday? There is no guarantee that UMNO/BN will return to power after the 15th General Elections (to implement their proposed Budget 2023).
The PM has also said that Sabah, Sarawak, Melaka and Johor need not dissolve their State Assemblies.
According to media reports Penang, Kedah, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan would also not be dissolving their State Assemblies.
If so, that would be status quo in EIGHT States. Only five States Perak, Perlis, Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu will be dissolving their State Assemblies.

The Opposition can concentrate more manpower and resources to contest State seats in only five States.
But what happens to all the promises made in the Budget 2023?
The Civil Servants have been promised money and goodies. The people have been promised this and that. RM372 Billion worth of promises.
The Budget 2023 has become nonsensical. Budget 2023 is gone. Because Parliament has been dissolved.
Surely by last Friday the Prime Minister was already planning the dissolution of Parliament. But the Finance Minister did not know? He went ahead and delivered his Budget speech?
What are they going to say? Vote for us and we will deliver Budget 2023?
You have to win the elections first. This time around it will not be so easy. Can UMNO / BN even win 30 seats? Lets see.
