The lawyer, captured in viral videos having a heated exchange over Orang Asli issues with the former Pahang menteri besar, said the argument started because Adnan could not handle someone challenging him.
The bickering between them in the presence of a group of Orang Asli prompted the court's security team to intervene to diffuse the tense situation.
Siti said she and another lawyer had been waiting to brief a group of over 40 Orang Asli on the progress of a property sales dispute when Adnan approached them.
"He saw the Orang Asli and tried to show how great he is with them.
"But you can ask the Orang Asli from Pahang how he had treated them.
"So I said to the Orang Asli do not listen to politicians as they only know how to lie. He got upset and called me names like crooked lawyer (lawyer penipu) and 'stupid divorcee' (janda bodoh).
"You can see from the videos he pointed his fingers so close to my face so I swatted his hand away and asked who he was to treat me like that.
"It was crude but I expected that from him," she told the New Straits Times.
Siti was seen near the outer lobby area and was about to leave the premises when the spat occurred.
It is understood that Adnan had been at the court with other political party supporters for a proceedings involving former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Siti said many have told her to take action against Adnan for calling her a crooked lawyer but she was perplexed over what cases had she cheated her clients of.
"Nevermind, why should I bother.. I have so many Orang Asli cases pending and I have better and more important things to do," she said. - NST
