Should The Public Vote For Pas Now With Its Close Ties To Gisbh Asks A Netizen
NOW with investigations going strong against Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH), more allegations are coming forth from the public.
Strangely, political party PAS has been rather kind towards GISBH considering its very religious stand, recently stating that it hopes business networks under GISBH will not be unfairly targeted.
PAS also cautioned the government against being over-zealous in prosecuting GISBH members, further alluding to some ties between the two.
In reply, netizen JOKER in a post of X wondered if the public should continue voting for PAS. JOKER further highlighted that three homes of the GISBH CEO had been raided, 20 children were saved and that the evidence was either burned or buried.
Safe to say, the post has drawn quite a number of furious PAS supporters who roasted JOKER for his statement.
One netizen pointed out that the relationship between PAS and Abuya was in the far past and no longer relevant to the subject at hand. However, with PAS taking a stand with GISBH, one can only wonder.
In a comment that reeks of sarcasm, Nazgul inquired if the right choice was to vote for Barisan Nasional instead.
Netizen Kairul haizan referred to PAS’ statement where the political party welcomed police probes into GIBSH, wanting action to be taken against those found guilty.
PAS secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan was reported saying, “However, the eagerness to punish them should not affect the group as a whole, especially its innocent members or GISBH’s legal and beneficial activities.”
As the investigation continues, time will tell if GISBH and its activities will somehow link to PAS, however tenuous it could be.
In the meantime, it would be wise for PAS to distance itself from GISBH, lest it be drawn into the maelstrom of allegations the latter has inextricably found itself inside. – Focus Malaysia
