AMONG several other reasons, the original purpose of clothes has always been to protect one’s modesty.
But once our clothes fail to provide even that, do we continue to call them clothes?
Recently, a netizen pointed out an interesting fashion choice where a lady could be seen wearing skin-coloured pants while waiting for her baggage at the airport.
Looking at the photo, we don’t find it surprising that the post has since gone viral, with over 18,000 shares and over 3,700 comments. 
“Stop buying skin colored leggings, please,” said @Whotfismick who pointed it out.

And the reason? Netizen @gal_italia36144 gave it with her quote, “I really thought she was naked!”
But perhaps @getReligion07 knew something we don’t:

Echoing his point was @Michaeldfl who said, “Unless your body is on point.”
Several netizens have since stated that those were not pants, but in reality, leggings which are not entirely opaque.

Unsurprisingly, this topic quickly took a turn into body shaming. Netizen @sunshine_blac drew first blood with her brutal feedback.

On our part, we like to point out that this is not the worst fashion disaster ever. Lady Gaga with a meat dress comes to mind here.
Either that or any netizen could simply google, “10 worst fashion disaster,” to find out the horrors that the human mind could conjure.
Not forgetting, people during the ancient times actually believed wearing corset was attractive. And when we think about all these, skin-coloured pants are the least of our worries. — Focus Malaysia
