My comments : Here is a chart of total corona virus cases in Pakistan as of April 15th, 2020.
Around April 5th 2020 there were about 3,000 cases in Pakistan. 10 days later by April 15th, 2020 the numbers exceeded 6,000.
The latest figures (April 17th) show that Pakistan has almost 7,000 cases with 128 deaths. (However I do not believe these figures).
The next chart is more worrying. This is the rate of increase (or acceleration) of daily new cases in Pakistan. You can see that from April 12th the chart is headed to the sky.
The fasting month is coming soon - in about six days (April 23??) Every nite of the fasting month the mosques will have the special congregational tarawih prayers.
To con the government the religious fellows say they are going to respect social distancing inside the mosques. But the other religious fellow in the report above says it is impractical to follow the restrictions.Even if they clean the mosques the virus will still be carried in all their huge bushy beards, long hair, excessive cloth in their clothes, sneezing, coughing, shaking hands, hugging etc in the mosques.
Bottom line is the virus is going to spread.Posted by Syed Akbar Ali
