Revenue Valley Group Spreads The Love on World Food Day | In celebration of World Food Day, the parent business of Malaysia's Tony Roma's, The Manhattan FISH MARKET, and NY Steak Shack franchisees, Revenue Valley Group, provided meals to numerous humanitarian organisations and orphanages throughout Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
On October 15 and 16, 2023, in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, Revenue Valley Group gave more than 280 dinners to six charitable organisations that support children. The company's commitment to reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger by 2030, which acknowledges food as a basic human right, is in line with this heartfelt act.
The "Hidangan Kasih" food distribution initiative, which included meals from well-known restaurants like Tony Roma's Chicken Pasta, The Manhattan FISH MARKET's Fish & Chips, and NY Steak Shack's Crispy Chicken, benefited homes for impoverished children.
The firm staff also participated in games and activities with the kids during their visits to two of the homes, Rumah Titian Kaseh and Rumah Hope, promoting a happy and friendly atmosphere. Revenue Valley Group also distributed boxes of necessary commodities, such as rice, cooking oil, cooking ingredients, salt, sugar, milk, and toiletries, as part of its comprehensive strategy for reducing hunger.
The "Hidangan Kasih" from the Revenue Valley Group was also given to Rumah Perlindungan Nur Qaseh, Rumah Kebajikan Baitul Ehsan Al-Khairi, Rumah Kebajikan Anak Yatim & Asnaf An-Naafi, and Rumah Bakti Nur Syaheera.
"World Food Day is a global holiday commemorating the establishment of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in 1945. It is observed every year on October 16. We had the honour of honouring World Food Day by providing meals and other necessities to impoverished kids. We think that every child should have access to a hot meal every day, not just on World Food Day. It is nice to see the smiles on their faces as they enjoy a meal. By interacting and sharing with children now, we hope to plant the seeds for a better tomorrow as they develop into healthy adults who can flourish in their communities.
