Pmx Nemesis Ummi Hafilda Jibes Nurul Izzah For Preying On Sabahans Future In Upcoming State Polls

NURUL Izzah Anwar has received a tongue lashing for claiming that PKR’s participation in the 17th Sabah state election “is not one of self-interest but to fulfil the rakyat’s trust” from probably her father’s second biggest nemesis after twice former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad – businesswoman Ummi Hafilda Ali.
Ticking off the PKR deputy president for messing with Sabahans who are smart enough to chart their own destiny, the once star prosecution witness in Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s first so*omy trial in the late 1990s, reminded the former of her waning influence by not even able to defend Permatang Pauh which is her family’s deemed fortress in the 2022 national polls.
“Look at how Rafizi (former PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli whom Nurul Izzah toppled in the party’s polls last May) was kicked out like garbage despite having defended and fought till half-dead with utmost loyalty for your father by virtue of jail sentences meted out on him.
“Now you guys are trying to exploit Sabahans (to expand power base),” berated Ummi Hafilda who once authored a 22-page letter on Anwar’s misconduct when he was the deputy prime minister (DPM) during the first reign of Dr Mahathir in a Facebook rant which has amassed 14K likes, 4.4K comments and 620 shares at the time of writing.

 
Chiding the Prime Minister and PKR president’s eldest daughter for canvassing sweet promises that “would only remain promises after polling is over”, the 58-year-old estranged sister of former PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali went on to berate Nurul Izzah as merely a mirror image of her father.
“Both the daughter and father have identical behaviour … No. 1 in the world for manipulating and bragging (gebang) … a family-run party (parti anak beranak) … The president, former president (Nurul Izzah’s mother Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail) and deputy president are all one species.”
Elaborating further, Ummi Hafilda challenged Nurul Izzah who is touted to fill one of the at least four vacant Cabinet ministership after Dec 2 to name what has been her father’s “greatest achievement for the rakyat” after assuming the premiership.

“Try to list ’em down … I also want to know … Have there been 10 or 100 or 1,000 great and super explosive struggles for the sake of the ummah, religion and nation? List down your 100 achievements. Don’t just be a good talker.
“How many PPR flats have you climbed to extend aid or identify the problems of the rakyat?
“Or how many Malay entrepreneurs have you helped to achieve millionaire status … Or facilitate to penetrate the global market? How many tens of thousands of single mothers have you met and helped them get out of the crisis of extreme poverty and depression? How many?”
Added Ummi Hafilda whose information leak to Dr Mahathir in 1997 was said to be instrumental in Anwar’s sacking as DPM:
Are you aware of the many poor rakyat who can’t even afford to support their school-going children and the 1,001 more ummah-related problems that are worsening?
How many Malay children who smoked drugs or became prostit*tes have you saved and brought back to start a new life?
To be a leader is not about manipulating and bragging from morning to night. But ask yourself how many millions of impoverished rakyat have you been able to help in various problems of their lives.”
