Pm Committee To Be Formed On Fulfilling Harapan S Manifesto

Pakatan Harapan will form a committee to examine how they can fulfil the promises made in their election manifesto, said Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad
“One year has passed and we find that there are some promises we can implement, but the time has come for us to study how we can fulfil our promises
“For this, a committee will be formed with certain terms of reference so they can examine how to implement the promises made in the Harapan manifesto,” he said in a press conference after the Harapan presidential council meeting at Perdana Leadership Foundation in Putrajaya today
Mahathir also responded to those urging for a Prime Minister’s Question Time (PMQT) in Parliament, saying he will accede to these calls
“Every Wednesday, I will appear in Parliament to answer questions.“It is not my fault why I have not gone to Parliament because there are no questions for me
“Now even if there are no questions for me, I will still go,” he added
Last Thursday, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Liew Vui Keong said the PMQT will be implemented in the next session of the Dewan Rakyat which begins in October. This came barely a week after the minister first shot down the PMQT idea on the basis that Mahathir often attended the Dewan Rakyat to answer questions
“The prime minister has expressed his intention that he is interested to answer the questions,” he had said
