People Suffering Under Pakatan Says Najib After Accepting Apology From Former Spad Exec

KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak (pic) claimed Malaysians were suffering under Pakatan Harapan's administration after falling for their accusations against himself and Barisan Nasional
He said this after accepting an apology from a former executive of the disbanded Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) Mohd Aizat Ibrahim who was outside the Kuala Lumpur High Court during Najib's SRC International case
Najib said Aizat apologised to him because he believed the allegations created by Pakatan and regretted when the "facts arose"
"(Former) officers of SPAD have been abused and treated cruelly. Never in the history of the country's administration has a degree holder been offered a position of an SPM leaver.

"Aizat is supposed to have been offered Grade 41 but he is now only given Grade W19 and 'thrown' to Sarawak from Kuala Lumpur, which is something out of the norm for civil servants," he told reporters after the trial of his SRC International case on Monday (April 22).

Another former SPAD officer who met Najib was Salehuddin Saad who was offered a Grade N19 clerical position with a monthly pay of RM2,267.Najib said the cases were moral responsibilities he should pursue as a member of the Opposition to defend their rights
"I don't march or sleep on the streets but I fight for something based on facts and through a polite manner
"I hope the rakyat can realise that part of our society needs help," he said
Meanwhile, Aizat said he fell for allegations that Najib used absolute power to remove those who did not support him due to the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) controversy
"The current government did not give the rakyat anything. All they have is revenge and the best example is the disbanding of SPAD
"I'm disappointed because I have a degree from UPM but now I'm given an offer of Grade W19 in Sarawak
"I have a newborn child who is still less than a month old. I don't have the chance to take care of him yet and now I have to decide whether to go to Sarawak
"I might also miss his first words and first steps," Aizat said, adding that he would most likely accept the offer unless he had other options to work in Kuala Lumpur or Seremban.- Star
