PAS spiritual leader Hashim Jasin (above) had sold off his Porsche Cayman which came under the spotlight following allegations since 2017 that Umno had channelled RM90 million to his party

According to his aide Syafeeq Shukri, Hashim showed the MACC proof of this when he was questioned by the graft-busters in Kangar, Perlis today
"The MACC asked (Hashim) about the luxury SUV. He then handed over soft copies of the vehicle registration documents to the MACC
"The car has already been sold," Syafeeq told Malaysiakini
Syafeeq said Hashim also told the MACC how much the car cost and what taxes were paid
He said the MACC did not question Hashim about the RM90 million
In 2013, Hashim had publicly revealed that his son had acquired the sporty SUV for about RM100,000 in the UK before shipping it back to Malaysia
He said the vehicle was registered under his name because he was the Arau MP at the time and he had used a government-allocated approved permit (AP) to exempt the vehicle from import duties
Hashim said he had never driven the vehicle and that his son, a businessman, could afford it.
According to online used cars for sale website, the price of a 2013 Porche Cayman 2.7 automatic starts from RM270,000
Apart from Hashim, the MACC today also recorded statements from former Kuala Krai MP Mohammad Nasir Daud
"Yes. They asked me about the so-called (RM90 million). They asked me if I knew about it. I said I didn't," Nasir told Malaysiakini.  - Mkini
