Pas Confident Of Big Pn Win Even With No More Ceramah
STATE POLLS | A PAS leader has expressed confidence that Perikatan Nasional (PN) will emerge victorious in the state polls on Aug 12, even without the coalition holding any more public ceramah.
Pengkalan Chepa MP Ahmad Marzuk Shaary last night said this was the most confident he had ever felt for a coalition to face a state election and secure a major victory.
“We are looking at a very important date, which is for us to carry out our responsibility on Aug 12.
“As I said, there’s actually no need to hold any more ceramah. But in order to ensure the readiness of all the machinery, we still include ceramah as our agenda," said Marzuk (above) in his speech at one of PN’s nightly events held in Kelaboran, Tumpat.
“Across the country, the people already know who we are fighting against, who we are electing.
“This is, in the history of my experience, the only election that I felt with utmost confidence, with Allah’s grace, we will achieve a big victory,” he said.
Also present were PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man and PN’s Kelaboran candidate Mohd Adanan Hassan.
5-1 win
Meanwhile, Marzuk echoed PN’s narrative that the coalition has “won 5-1” in the six election states while recording an increase in Chinese support in Penang.
“The latest information we received is that it is not impossible to score 6-0 because a majority of Chinese voters in Penang, who were DAP’s core supporters, have shown increased support (toward PN) of up to 20 percent.
“In the remaining days leading up to polling day, nothing is impossible because we are faced with a government formed of treacherous parties,” he claimed. - Mkini
