Pahang Swears In Bn Harapan Excos Including Najib S Son
Pahang has sworn in 10 members of its State Executive Council from both BN and Pakatan Harapan as part of its state unity government between the two coalitions, which was similarly adopted in Perak.
Eight of the exco members are from BN and two are from Harapan.
The list of excos also includes Peramu Jaya assemblyperson Mohamad Nizar Mohamad Najib, who is the son of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.
Incumbent exco members Benta assemblyperson Mohd Soffi Abdul Razak, Kerdau assemblyperson Syed Ibrahim Syed Ahmad and Bebar assemblyperson Mohammad Fakhruddin Mohd Ariff were also sworn in.

Of the Harapan excos, one is from PKR and one from DAP. All BN excos are from Umno.
The results of the 15th general election saw a hung Pahang state assembly for the first time as no party obtained a simple majority of 22 seats.
New Pahang exco members taking their oath of officeThere are a total of 42 seats in the Pahang state assembly.
BN won 16 state seats, one less than PN, while Harapan won eight seats.
This led to BN cooperating with Harapan to form the state government, led by Pahang Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, who is the Jelai assemblyperson.
The Tioman state seat polling was postponed to Dec 7 following the death of PN candidate Md Yunus Ramli, 61, at 3.30am on the polling day on Nov 19, believed to be due to a heart attack.
