Non Corruptible Akmal Fights Off Detractors Linking Him To Pm9 S Rm177m Heist

UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh had proactively shamed two political enemies with threats of legal action, leading to one of them coming forward to profusely apologise for having linked him to a “RM10 mil bounty” from ninth premier Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The ‘bounty’ is said to be in the form of a 2022 Malaysian Strategic Communications Plan contract during the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration of then UMNO vice-president Ismail Sabri who holds the record of being the Malaysian Prime Minister (PM) with the shortest stint (14 months).
According to a breakdown of service and costing shared by the detractors, the Merlimau state assemblyman was tasked to carry out “research and digital seeding” to disseminate and monitor media content for the year of 2022.
One detractor Zairy Abdullah who is the Sarawak Pakatan Harapan (PH) Youth chief has publicly apologised over his malicious slander emanating from ignorance and dependency on invalid source of information.
However, another has yet to apologise but has since “shut down” the social media account that he used to post the unfounded claim against Akmal.
“Thought you were very brave but eventually chickened out until you’ve to close your (social media) account amid a legal threat,” teased the Melaka Rural Development, Agriculture and Food Security Committee chairman on his Facebook page.
“Is it so difficult to find food for your wife and children till you’ve to resort to slander to earn a living? Any cybertrooper out there who wants a fight are welcome to do so.
“I’m not enriching myself with politics; my sole responsibility is to protect my religion, race and homeland. No fear no surrender.”
For the record, Ismail Sabri who has been named by BERSIH as “Malaysia’s best premier since 2009” is expected to be ‘grilled’ by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Friday (March 7) in a purported RM177 mil ‘heist’.

This came about following a raid at a safe house which led to the seizure of RM170 mil in cash held in various international currencies along with 16kg of gold bullion worth about RM7 mil,
As it is, head honcho of the graft buster Tan Sri Azam Baki has confirmed that the Bera MP is currently one of the key suspects in an on-going corruption probe involving hundreds of millions of ringgit in government funds. – Focus Malaysia
