My Ramadan Postgraduate Life
SELAMAT BERPUASA TO ALL MUSLIMS
Drove back home for 5 hours the the day before Ramadan just to be with my family. I thought I couldn't be home for the first day of Ramadan. Alhamdulillah thank you Allah for giving me the chance to be with my family again. Bought myself a Chocolate Cream Chip from Starbucks. Chocolate drinks help me to stay awake and refresh. And it has been a while since I've had my Starbucks drink. Been craving for one for so long. Having a heavy schedule kinda sucks as it takes all my time away preventing me from doing my favourite activities.
It has been a week since since the first day of Ramadan and Alhamdulillah I was able to have my first day of Ramadan with my family. I am so blessed. But the day after I am back in KL again since I got class the next day. Had a good rest and am so happy that I got to help my mom cook for our very first iftar together. It was a very simple meal but amazingly warm and calm.
While I was in my hometown, I bought myself a new power bank and it's a brand I've never once tried. I'm not a fan of Pineng tbh and never had one since it is too mainstream and a lot of people use it. I'd prefer something different. My old power bank was still good and but I'm handing it over to someone else that needs it. So, here's a new one for me. after 2 @ 3 years I'm taking Veger with me this time.
Why Veger
Probably because it offers a wireless charging but only limited to iPhone and Samsung. A certain model which compatible. Luckily mine is.
I haven't had any photos of me or anybody taken during this Ramadan as I'd love to have it simple and quiet. So I'm not sharing any here. Life has been so hectic and it's best to just enjoy this year's Ramadan in the simplest way possible. What I mean is just to have a quite day with works and study without much hassle. There's still so much to do but at least things are a bit calmer these days. The tempo is slowing down and that's a good thing. Since I am still busy with class even during fasting, we had to eat together during our Iftar on certain days as my class is during the night. It was fun and I am loving it. At least we won't be alone.
While there is no class, I'd make myself a grilled cheese sandwich or even just a grilled bread with scrambled egg. It's really simple yet so appetising and I loved it. Even without a toasted I can still make it as crunchy as it should be. That is how much my Ramadan has been so far. Well, some of it actually. Nothing much except for having a bunch of workload on top if my head and I am still doing good. I hope everyone else is having a great time.
Warmly,Ray
