Mr Tommy Thomas You Have The Final Say But The Public Is Not Convinced With Your Explanation

1.  The FIRST issue at hand involves serious public interest.  I am talking about Latheefa Koya's decision to make public those audio recordings.  

Just like when the US Attorney General exposed the 1MDB scandal.  It was of major public interest. When the US Attorney General spoke in July 2016 the representatives from the FBI were also standing beside her and the FBI also said a few words. The FBI was the investigation agency. The entire press conference by the US Attorney General was based on primary evidence gathered by the FBI. 

2.  Similarly this video case is also of major public interest. It involves not only a Cabinet Minister but also the government of the day and a future wannabe PM.

Since it was the AG (and not the Police) who made it public that the video was too blur then it is also in the public interest that the AG explain how the two video labs came to that conclusion?
Commenter Sickput has pointed out that the FBI may not have assisted to analyse the tapes because of LGBT issues. It is not illegal to be an LGBT in the US. So obviously the videos were sent to commercial video labs. Are they credible enough to handle legal matters of this sort?
And since LGBT is NOT a crime in the USA (besides being highly politically incorrect) I seriously doubt that American video lab will dare make an appearance in a Malaysian court to testify in an LGBT case.  (Because they must be called to testify). So what was the purpose of sending the video to an American video lab in the first place?  Main-main kah? 
Granted that the AG Tommy Thomas has the final say whether there should be any prosecution or not but most certainly there is a significant amount of disbelief in the general public that the people in the video CANNOT be recognised.
If the video was so blur how come from Day 1 EVERYONE INCLUDING THE BLURRY GUY IN THE VIDEO associated those images with him?
If the video was so blur HOW COME NO ONE SAID THAT THE BLURRY GUY LOOKS LIKE TOMMY THOMAS? OR DR MAHATHIR? OR THE MUFTI OF MINDANAO?
If the video was so blur HOW COME TOMMY THOMAS OR DR MAHATHIR did not make a police report that there was an attempt to sabotage their careers? 
FROM DAY 1 EVERYONE KNEW EXACTLY WHO WAS THE MAIN 'SUSPECT'. Including the main suspect.
And here is the soalan cepu mas - Homosexuality is a crime in Malaysia. That is the law of the land.  How many homosexuality cases or buggery cases have been prosecuted   in the Malaysian Courts using video evidence? The answer is NONE (I am willing to be corrected).
All those ostards in the tahfiz who have been arrested for buggery - do they have video and photographic evidence recording their deeds - without which there was no case?  Yet the sodomy charges against them have been successfully prosecuted in the Courts.
So what is so special about this case ? Especially since the other guy in the video has made a confession that it is indeed him in the video. How are the Police and the AG handling that? 
Anyway here are some commercially available software which can be used to enhance blurry videos and photographs.  
As you can see the 'enhancement' of the blurry videos is quite dramatic.  Here are two short clips.





Here are two stills that have been enhanced which I have already run before. From almost pitch black you can make out faces and car number plates. This is using commercially available software. 



Here are more examples of enhancing blurry images.  They use colour filters and other filter techniques.






Now look at the following six pictures of this woman. Do you recall this woman? 




She was the Vietnamese girl who was unwittingly conned into murdering the North Korean fellow at the KLIA.  Our Police were able to identify and arrest the Vietnamese girl through these blurry CCTV images recorded at the KLIA.
This is the real Vietnamese girl. She looks so different from the blurry girl in the CCTV images above. Yet the Police could identify her and find her.

The real girl (minus makeup, minus the hairdo, the costume etc) looks so much more different from this picture yet our Police were able to track her down.  Which is proof enough of the professional capabilities of our Police. 
And the public is expected to believe that this "blurry" guy here could actually be Luk Laik Pon  the great grandson of Wa Hou Tai  ?
