Masjidil Haram Ditutup Akibat Covid 19

Adakah Masjidil Haram ditutup ? Jawabnya ye ditutup sebentar beberapa minit atau jam untuk sanitize. Masjidil Haram ditutup bukan pertama kalo dalam sejarah. Sudah banyak atas pelbagai sebab yang mendesak. Ketika ini, masih ramai yang bertawaf dari kawasan masjid. Kemudian kawasan masjid pula ditutup untuk tujuan sanitize. 

Kita harapkan masjid di Malaysia turut ambil langkah proaktif sanitize carpet  masjid dan surau etc. Ini jawapan lengkap dari Sheikh Waleed hakim yang berada di sana (Mekah) .. 
“Subhanallah, news of the Haram being closed are going viral and causing panic, with people even going as far as declaring it one of the signs of the final day

Since I am here in Makkah, let me clarify facts from fiction so we could calm down: - The tawaf area around the Kaabah was closed today. However, people were still doing tawaf outside in the covered area. - The rest of the Masjid was open for the 5 prayers, and people were praying outside too. - Starting tonight, 1 hour after Isha, the entire mosque will be closed for sanitization until 1 hour before Fajr when it will be reopened again. This is also happening in the Prophet's ﷺ mosque in Madinah! - Zamzam water will also be shut down and sanitized. All the tabs and the containers. - No corona cases reported from the Haram. 

This is just a precaution since tomorrow is Jumuah, the busiest time of the week. - No one wearing Ihraam clothing will be allowed inside Makkah. If you come plain clothed however, you are allowed to come inside the city boundaries. You may or may not be stopped for questioning. Groups are not allowed under any circumstances


Now, is this one of the signs of the day of judgement as some claim? - Actually, Haram was closed over 40 times in history, due to fires, diseases, expansions, or wars, and we know them year by year, from 865 to 1987. Therefore it is not the first or only time. No reason to panic

Alhamdulillah, we ask Allah to keep us and our families safe, and reward everyone who wanted to visit His house but couldn't. We also thank the authorities for protecting the visitors of Allah


P.S I will still sit just outside the Masjid and make Dua prayer for everyone insha'Allah if you write it below. It is still part of the Haram and a blessed area.
